Gotta say that I have no problem with this action by the government official. Hell, even without the religious connotations, removing bacon from the menu should be a damn capital offense! As for the oppressive, reactionary, appease-us-or-we’ll-suicide-bomb-your-discos (or appease-us-or-we’ll-kidnap-you-and-saw-your-head-off-with-a-pocket-knife) whackjobs, they can suck it. You know, without the deliciousness of bacon in their lives, no wonder they’re all so willing to strap explosives to themselves.

It amuses me that with all of the arguing about preserving French identity, they’re arguing over FAST FOOD, the very thing I’d have thought a proper French-person would find most offensive.
There’s good reason to choose bacon over the seventy-two doe-eyed virgins. Bacon knows exactly what you need and never gets upset if you don’t call.
